When i open the insights page, it does not auto-select a repo (or default to last used) and im left in an endless loading state unless i manually select a repo.

on the Insights page, you’ll need to explicitly select the repositories you want to include. repository selections from the inbox don’t carry over to Insights. this is intentional, since many users may not want Insights data for every repo selected in Inbox (for example, personal or test repos).

yeah that makes sense. a message telling you to select a repo rather than the loading screen is probably more helpful still
