Every attempt to merge from graphite web is hitting "This pull request was removed from the merge queue due to unexpected git error"

i was getting the same error like 10 minutes ago when trying to merge a PR without the merge queue (to a non default branch), but figured it was because it wasn't going to the merge queue 🤔

hey all, thanks for letting us know, we're currently investigating this issue.

From my limited testing, it consistently failed on some PRs (but merged fine in GitHub), but worked on others

I submitted feedback on the stack that failed, but have since merged it from GitHub one at a time. Other stacks seem fine now.
