I recently noticed that I am not able to use

gt create

with no args I am on version 1.8.3 I get the error:

Aborting commit due to empty commit message.
ERROR: Command failed with error exit code 1:
git commit -q

But usually I am given a chance to enter one in my IDE (it opens up the commit message editor)

fwiw - i can get around this with specifying the

-m

flag for onw
