In a comment with different code blocks, pressing Cmd+Z inside one code block, starts to undo in the other code blocks. In other words, it seems that the undo state is share across separate code blocks.

Hey Tim, circling back on this one. Seems like someone tried to have an agent fix and realized this seems like intended behavior? ie
Cmd+Z
should undo the last change in the textbox as a whole not based on codeblocks. I tested notion to see how they handled it and its the same.
t
the thing is that it doesn’t touch “hello”, which was typed in between the two code blocks
I can’t seem to reproduce though. The undo steps are inconsistent. I can type the same sequence and press cmd+Z and the same groups won’t be together each time
p
hmmm in your original video you type: first code block -> hello -> second code block and then click back into the first code block and cmd z undoes the second code block typing.
t
but after I continue typing cmd z it undoes in the first code block and not “hello”

ahhh i see i see! sorry for not sticking through to the end of the video. In this case, looks like the fix actually did work
