Alternatively, if the pull request number under the PR title was a plain link to the PR in GitHub, I could "command + click" that.

PLUS ONE. I very often need to get to the github PR page and resort to copying the link then pasting it in a new tab, but it's kind of bizzare that there isn't a direct link to it somewhere on the page already! The text that Spencer highlighted was the first thing I attempted to click on also.

Also plus one. I often want to provide a link to GitHub instead of Graphite when referencing a PR since a lot of my colleagues aren't on graphite since I haven't managed to convert them 😉.

same for the CLI output after a PR, would be nice to have the github link instead

This still isn't quite what I want. I use Tree Style Tabs on Firefox, so when I do "command + click" on a link to open it in a new tab, it's nested under my current tab in my sidebar. Opening a new tab with "command + t" puts the tab at the very bottom of my sidebar instead of being nested.

i concur. i saw someone made a chrome extension just to add this button. sadly i use firefox, so i tried to make a simple userscript but couldn't quite get it working perfectly. should be a built-in feature.

I created a greasemonkey/tampermonkey script to add this. https://github.com/spencewenski/greasemonkey-scripts/blob/main/graphite-dev-improvements.user.js (Install by clicking the "Raw" button). Tested with Tampermonkey in Firefox and Chrome.

it doesn't seem to work for me:
Object { org: undefined, repo: undefined, prId: undefined }
my url is: https://app.graphite.dev/github/pr/perdoo/perdoo-api-v2/6549/e2e-tests-for-group-profile

Oops, the pathname regex I was using wasn't allowing for dashes in the url. It should work now if you update/reinstall.

thanks! seems to be working now
