We also have a merge queue 🙂

I know - realistically I don't think we'll be able to move off of the GH one in the medium term, we are building infra off of it such as dashboards and pipelines and are already invested in it
it's unfortunate that we can do everything in the Graphite UI except actually submit the PR

@David Bradford is thinking about better support for 3P merge queues soon (including GitHub’s)

I really really liked the feature y’all used to have that would apply labels to PRs for other tools to pick up instead of merging directly. Would love to see that come back!

I think I may have a similar question here. What does "github's merge queue is enabled" by this "Merge when ready" toggle? My understanding of this toggle is that if toggled && All checks OK && Approved, then the PR should auto-click the "Merge" button for me using my default merge method.
I thought it would be the same as this button:

@Harrison Katz we don’t currently support merging via the GitHub merge queue from Graphite because it doesn’t handle stacks - @David Bradford is working on enabling merging single PRs via GitHub’s merge queue and other 3P merge queues. Our implementation of merge when ready is also separate from GitHub’s because we need to take into account stack dependencies.

❤️ Thanks for the info and your hard work David! I eagerly await being able to click that merge button if possible. Or... if I could just convince my team to use the graphite UI! shakes fist at cloud

Jumping in here to express my desire for supporting merging single PRs in repos w/GitHub merge queues enabled.

We should have some updates here imminently! It’s on our roadmap.
