Does fast forward merge require overriding CI restrictions with admin privileges in github?
Does the merge activity page only apply to Graphite merges? (really wish the rest my org could/would move to Graphite)
I also assume you have to be some sort of admin for the repository/billing tabs to appear on the settings page

Does fast forward merge require overriding CI restrictions with admin privileges in github?
For the simplest version of FF merge, it does not, as we run CI on each commit in parallel before fast-forwarding, which GitHub allows. Though we are exploring more advanced options here that might have different requirements. cc @David Bradford who may be able to speak to those.

The trunk history section at the bottom shows each commit merged into your trunk branch, but the queue and activity sections only show the status of PRs merging via Graphite.
I also assume you have to be some sort of admin for the repository/billing tabs to appear on the settings page
We're currently feature-flagging this on for companies who sign up, but something like this is the plan, cc @merrill who may be able to share more!

Yes, fast forward merge does not require admin privileges in github. As we look to add additional features to the GTMQ, they may require different github settings (like admin privileges), but would likely be rolled out as optional features on our end.
