We are using grails in our microservice plattform since 9 years now. The start for every new developer was very easy because the frameworks easy to understand structure and a lot of stuff works through conventions. The Plattform handles on a day 6 million requests and processes up to 2 million RabbitMQ messages without problems. The avg response time is < 100 ms.
