@mattias_reichel From what I understand they were dropped when the new CLI and Forge came in. Looking at the Forge you have a choice between web app and rest API. I don't think the Grails team has the bandwidth to really support the front-end frameworks, especially considering how quickly they change and evolve. It is conceivable that something like that could be brought back in the CLI/Forge in the way of features, but I think that would only happen if it was driven by someone in the community wanting it and contributing it.
