That's one of the prices you have to pay for using Groovy DSL, not Kotlin DSL. :-D Something within the mentioned closure is syntactically wrong, but the error message will not tell you. You have to comment out all content and look piece for piece which makes it break. But from a quick look I'd guess it is the licenses and developers outside the pom.
