It’s able to do some cross compilation, but for your project, I would wait a tiny bit more. Your project is actually on the list of trial project for validating full cross compilation. The current issue is not the capability but the legacy we are pulling from Gradle core which I want to move away from at some point due to how it makes cross-compilation more complicated then what it should be.
