How can I append a Provider<String> to a Property<String> (update the value)?

val foo: Property<String> = objects.property()
foo.set("foo")
val toAdd: Provider<String> = provider { "toAdd" }
foo.set(foo.zip(toAdd) { foo, toAdd -> foo + toAdd })
println(foo.get()) // I want to get "fooToAdd"

Hmmm, this is indeed disappointing. I have a Property from (my) 3rd party library but I want to add a suffix for my local use-case only 😐

Hopefully we ship support for that for Gradle 10 🤞
