for our own yaml file based tests. I think this is related to https://docs.gradle.org/9.4.0-rc-1/release-notes.html#non-class-based-testing and a potential backwards compatibility?
Has this break in behaviour been in the rc-1 been acknowledged?

Do I understand right that you have what can be interpreted as path elements in test names and Gradle wrongly assume you are doing path filtering? If that's the case, please file an issue, this is for sure wrong behavior.

I'm not 100% certain whats the root cause. I look into creating a ticket
