tbh, i don’t use script-plugins, finding it cleaner / more flexible to use a full plugin in Kotlin.  Still has all the benefits of DSL, etc.

Not sure where you see a bug though, you even posted the solution already.
The accessor `kotlin-dsl` includes a version, so opposed to your statement that you did not specify a version, you did.
To use it without a version, you just use the id as you posted in that issue.
