Hi Gradle Team, There's no #meta channel, and #CA7UM03V3 is locked, so this seemed like the next best place to post my question. Has there been an attempt to negotiate a nonprofit plan for this workspace? Is there an actual nonprofit behind gradle.org? I often want to post questions here, but it pains me to think the responses will drop off after 90 days and be of no help to future comers. I don't know the details of how, but the Kotlin Slack workspace is on a plan that shows full history, and it's a very valuable resource.

Ah, good to know. Bookmarked. It still might be nice to have it all right in the workspace, though. For example, you can't add new learnings to an archived thread.

kotlinlang also uses it, https://slack-chats.kotlinlang.org/ which is https://www.linen.dev/s/kotlinlang - it makes threads google-able, which content stuck in slack isn't

personally I think the forums are of more help to future comers... I also think if gradle were smarter they'd pay slack, or move to a different option. I could say the same about jetbrains. For profit companies shouldn't underestimate the advantages conveyed by community support and making sure they foster their communities good will.
