Can someone please convert this channel (<#CJWG8VDM0|>) to an announcement channel?

It’s for announcing release so we get a notification for new releases, not for people commenting on new releases and triggering lots of notifications :pray:

You might have this checkbox ticked? Otherwise agree, only Gradle should be able to post to the channel, but let people comment in threads about a specific post.

I *want* to be notified about all messages in the channel to learn about new releases. That’s why the channel was created :sweat_smile:

Threads are fine. Messages in the channel are the problem.
