After allowing

.lock

files through to the caching layer, I notice now the only tasks coming

FROM-CACHE

instead of

UP-TO-DATE

are some sub-builds that don't have their

.gradle

directories cached.

fwiw, it would still be really nice to be able to tell from a debug log why a filesystem is considered invalid.
