not really afaik, "before" and "after" a plugin isn't really well defined since configuration may take place out of order (lazy) or in multiple passes (afterEvaluate)
ideally the plugins would be well documented or at least source available for you to see what they're doing

Yeah, thankfully they’re all source available. Part of my issue is that this is for a Minecraft plugin which has a bunch of extra steps to properly integrate with the obfuscated Minecraft code. Part of it is because I don’t completely understand what parts of it are doing. Essentially there’s a common subproject, as well as a separate subproject for each of the supported platforms. I’m trying to shade some dependencies in common because they’re only used there, but the platform subprojects seem to be automatically configured to use the
jar
task when I need it to use the
shadowJar
task so the dependencies are included.
