You should probably ask in some react-native community, or the support of the
cli-platform-android
package. This is not a Gradle issue. You might try your luck in #CJYS1DAP5 as it might be Android Gradle Plugin specific, but even then, it is not you having problems with Gradle, but something you use has a problem with Gradle or the Android Gradle Plugin and you could anyway not do much yourself to solve it. I have very little Android or Ract Native experience, but my best guess is, that the library you are using there - at least in the version you are using - is not compatible with the Android Gradle Plugin version you are using.
