c
using gitt bash on both IDEs
v
I suspect that for one you have an invalid
JAVA_HOME
set.
Try
echo $JAVA_HOME
on both
c
both output C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-21 which is correct
gradle version is 8.5
fleet 1.28.106 (left) vs intelij idea ultimate 2023.3.1 (right) running the same project:
v
And if you do
ls -alhd /cygdrive/c /c
? I would suspect both are complaining that
/cygdrive/c
is not found but
/c
is displayed. Then edit the
gradlew
and add as one of the first statements after the shebang a
set -x
and run on both again, then diff the outputs.
c
here's the diff, fleet at the left and intelij on the right: https://www.diffchecker.com/e4crHexF/
v
Are you sure it is the same bash? Seems like the Fleet is starting Cygwin Bash, not Git Bash
c
they both have C:\Program Files\Git\bin\bash.exe in settings.json ( fleet) andterminl settings ( intelij)
v
Tbh, I'd tend to blame Fleet then for doing something strange. Besides that it should be
C:\Program Files\Git\usr\bin\bash.exe -l -i
. Afair the
bash.exe
you use is in some kind a strange wrapper which can make problems when you select it as the terminal in the IDE. Maybe that will already fix your issue.

c
-l ( or --login) in fleet settings.json args definitely fixed the issue ( tested with the path in my preview message the with the one in yours). I overlooked that since the SO answer that i initially used for the setup didn't have one arg https://stackoverflow.com/a/77599460/13781069. Thank you very much for your support
