You use Android Gradle Plugin 7.4.2 which requires that you run Gradle at least with Java 11, but you run Gradle with Java 8.

I'm actually a newbie so most of it is not clear.

You are out of RAM. You configured the daemon to use up to 2 GiB heap but your RAM is exhausted.
