No, the start scripts are dynamically generated using
org.gradle.api.internal.plugins.StartScriptGenerator
. The jar on the other hand can be found within the
lib/plugins/gradle-wrapper-<version>.jar
directly in the root of the jar.

? Or were you referring to the gradle distribution zip? I think I see it there.

The other way around
That jar is part of the distribution and inside you find the actual
gradle-wrapper.jar
that is written by the
wrapper
task.
Or you just execute Gradle to get the files.
