That is not the same issue, or are you developing that annotation processor? As you can read in my answer in that topic, there the problem is hen-and-egg. If you use an annotation processor that is already built and available as artifact, your problem is completely different.
Can you maybe provide an MCVE? Normally classes generated by annotation processors properly should also right away be compiled along. Besdies that this is not a Gradle question at all most probably. Because if the annotation processor runs, Gradle does the right thing. The rest is up to the compiler and annotation processor.
