Are there any meets up/groups tangental to the topic of “future of programming”, language groups or whatever in ontario / toronto?

I’m in Toronto. To my knowledge there are no meetups labelled “FoC”, but related meetups that I’m aware of include: • Toronto Lisp (mostly about: alien technology, robotics, Racket, Scheme, Common Lisp, drawware, Rebol, Forth, strangeness, game jams, etc.), monthly, online (most attendees are outside of Toronto, incl. one from Silicon Valley (everyone welcome)) • CompSci Cabal, Thursday nights reading tech papers, reading free tech books, occasional fire-pit in-person meets • robotics, rPI, CEO, JS, DevOps, etc. meetups • Toronto was/is the hub of FBP, but the FBP meetups are now defunct (there is a Discord for FBP) • Geoffrey Hinton/Vector Institute used to provide free lectures with free lunches more details available as best as I can provide them...
