shoutout to Aldi's - their store brand has very good imitations of major brands - think Hellman's mayo, Heinz ketchup And their brand of Snackers crackers is pareve! Just don't spend everything you save in the closeouts aisle 😆 I have also become a walking advertisement for Primark, clothes at Walmart prices but much better quality.

We call it the Amazing Savings aisle... Often stuff from that aisle are poor quality. Like the grill cover I bought that lasted about 4 months before it got a hole.

+1 for Aldi's - I've been stocking up on their baby squeeze pouches. They're only .89 cents and have ones with oatmeal and flax mixed in....

Interesting, I bought their grill cover too and it has held up well
But yes, we do a lot of our grocery shopping in aldi
Lookout for the pretzel buns, pas yisroel and half the price you'd find elsewhere
But keep an eye out on hechsherim their store brand stuff can sometimes go back and forth
h
cool, pretzel buns are in the bread aisle?
a
Yeah, bakery aisle

Same here in Brooklyn. I shop at Aldi's via Instacart and they have great prices. Lot's of their items are kosher (chips, sauces, applesauce, and salmon comes with skin on and is cheaper than my local groceries ($8.79 lb))

Aldi instacart pickup is great, gets picked and packed by store staff, can order early to ensure stock and typically no wait
Downside is there is a premium for using instacart, it used to be easily offset by buying discounted gift cards at Costco but that is no longer an option
I still find discount gift cards sometimes that still make it worth it though
