How do you classify subscriptions in YNAB? Yearly and monthly subs? Do you have a separate budget line “subscriptions” or do you put each under respective categories (ex: groceries, business, lifestyle, etc.)?

I tend to have a category for each subscription, because I want a handle on subscriptions I have...they can be yearly or month, and I have a target set up appropriately

i think about this differently depending on the subscription itself, but ususally in the notes section for the budget i keep a breakdown of how i came to the number which might list various monthly and annual subscription that I then incorpoarte into that monthly budgeting goal number
