02/21/2025, 10:24 AMA YNAB question - if under one category, e.g. education, I have payments going out on different dates of the month, is it possible to set up multiple targets? Or should I create a separate category for each school? Or should I just lump it all together and set the target date for the 1st even though there are payments going out on the 20th? Thank you.

02/21/2025, 3:07 PMIIUC you have two separate payments, say on the 5th and on the 20th. There's no way to specify two separate dates - however, I think you can set it to a biweekly budget. So you could target the 1st and the 15th and that should be good enough for the use case as I understand it.

02/25/2025, 2:29 PMThe target dates are just to help you remember when to assign money to the category. If you have the funds to fully fund the category on the 1st then one category and target is fine.
