02/20/2024, 5:51 PMI want to add a linked account to YNAB. Since I already have a connection to that bank YNAB wants me to either use the existing connection or remove the existing connection and create a new one. I don't want to remove my existing connection so I would like to use the existing connection. However, YNAB doesn't allow me to edit the existing connection to include the new account (not sure when I originally created the connection if I selected the option to include new accounts). Does anyone know of a way to add the new account to the existing connection or do I need to contact them about it?

02/20/2024, 7:33 PMok thanks, I'll look into it. I created the account today so maybe there's some sort of delay? I also did get an email from the about YNAB's (and right capital's) connections had been edited, I wonder if it tried to do it automatically though I don't see the account in YNAB or right capital.

02/23/2024, 12:03 AMOk so I think what happened here is just that there was a delay between creating the bank or CC account and YNAB picking that fact up. Once YNAB picked up the changes then I had to go to "Add Account" and then click on the existing connection and then follow the process to link the new accounts (it was helpful that the connection said 1/3 connected to indicate which connection needed updating).
I think you can also unlink the account (not remove it completely) and then relink but option 1 was easier for me.
I'm also still not sure if when I originally made the connection to the bank if I selected to automatically link new accounts so I can't say for sure what the process would be for the option I didn't select.
