Afaf, anyone know of a budgeting app that focuses on cash flow? "Like, your credit card bill is currently $3000, you have $2000 in your bank account, Mortgage and tuition come out on x date so at this rate, assuming all the money we know you're getting and all the bills we know you're paying, you'll have $x in your bank account after paying your CC bill"
m
Prisim kinda does this, or at least it used to, they updated it a bit and it really doesn't do it as well anymore
side point that I would definitely try to convince your friend that that is not a good budgeting app if it does do what they are looking for
r
Sounds like they need a debt management app, rather than a budgeting app

All fair points. It's a friend who's very on top of her current financial state and is going through some stuff. So I'm going to trust her to know what she needs at this point

Prism might be the app for her πŸ˜‰ it also helps pay your bills automatically

Rocket Money does a payday feature. It’s great if you have a consistent paycheck deposited into the same account.

@steep-dog-55906 Ramsey's "EveryDollar" app has a premium feature that is called "Paycheck Planning" that does the exact thing you are looking for.
A side note, YNAB does not offer such a feature up front (although its possible to accomplish this with budget templates), because of course Rule 4 of YNAB is aging your money, so the goal is to break free of living paycheck to paycheck.
