They are two separate products accomplishing two entirely different goals, so I don't think any comparison is helpful
One is a net worth tracker with backward looking transactional categorization One is a budgeting app for planning future purchases.
I use and love them both.

It lets you categorize transactions but like I can't create a true budget. For example, let's say I have a 50 dollar a month sefarim budget and I buy sefarim twice a year. So it needs to allow me to categorize that money to let it build up and then drain it when I spend from that fund.
Which it doesn't allow.

Mint does allow rollover from month to month on a budget item

I've stopped using mint for budgeting because I haven't found it does a good job enforcing a budget. It's been some time but I remember it allowing me to over budget or allow things to remain unbudgeted for. YNAB does a much better job at that. I use mint now just for overall expense tracking, I find it does a better job at that. (I think these are the basic differences @mysterious-tomato-10057 is referring to)
