#C04EHDK97K8 in #C04G7BK8GQJ I have a fund that tracks the S&P500, how can I find out if it tracks the S&P with dividends re-invested or just the index itself, I have looked in funder.co.il and gemelnet.co.il nowhere does it say

my son's BM is in a year. I have a category in YNAB for this, so i've been saving money. But since I don't need the money for a year, I'd rather it...lose less...to inflation (or maybe even gain if that's possible) My bank (mizrachi) offers many different pakams, but it seems that once I deposit money in there, I can't deposit more next month. What are my best options? (currently reading this article: https://bluewhitefinance.com/short-term-savings-in-israel/), but also would like other thoughts and opinions.

Question: If I want to invest for my kids, for minors or teenagers, how can you do that in Israel? Can I invest in the stock market from the bank? How? Of should I call up Harel, or a place like that? What makes sense for Israel/American (pfic, etc)?

Asking for an Israeli family member, temporarily living in America without cutting ties to here e.g. still pays Bituach Leumi. Bank Hapoalim informs her that as she has been living in America for longer than six months they will close her investment accounts in Israel. 1. Does anyone know if this is a policy for all banks? If there are banks that don't do that please let me know which ones. 2. Is there another way around this problem? 3. Can you recommend a lawyer/accountant who may have experience in this matter. I have an old-style Bituach Minahalim with a מקדם קצבה מובטח (guaranteed annuity factor), which you can't get any more. However, the fees are very high so the pension guy recommends ditching it (it's anyway split, this is only half my pension). It's not an easy call because the מקדם מובטח is valuable and there's no going back once it's gone. Basically, if life expectancy increases significantly by the time I retire, it's worth keeping this plan since it'll be based on the factor in 2013 rather than at retirement. I'm looking for figures of what the annuity factor is now and how it's changed over the last 20 years, as a guide to the next 20 years, but I can't find it anywhere. Any leads, or other general advice on this question?

So I'm a dual citizen currently living in the US. I'm investing in Roth ira, 401k etc but I feel like if/when I retire in Israel I'll end up having to pay a TON in taxes. If anyone knows about this kind of situation and would like to advise I'd appreciate. Otherwise this is just a #rant 😆

Any good resources for cutting costs in Israel? ie, how much does a water bar actually cost in electric, how much can you save by hang-drying laundry, how to get discounts on bills...

I made some research recently regarding private medical insurance. I found out that there is a heavily discounted PMI ביטוח קבוצתי that gives slightly less cover at 50% of the market price. As an example, I was quoted ~₪700/mo for my family, but I bought ביטוח קבוצתי for ₪360/mo (family 5 kids, comprehensive cover) For details, please DM me.

Hi all, family making Aliyah in a year BeH. Looking for guidance on how you handle utilizing American retirement funds when planning to make Aliyah and once in Israel. Which types of accounts do you use - Roth, traditional, brokerage, etc? Did you close American accounts after moving? Do you still invest through those accounts in addition to an Israeli investment plan? TIA!!

Are there any US citizens <!here> that invest in US ETFs via IBKR? I have 2 questions 1. How did you open the account - single or joint? 2. Are you able to buy Vanguard ETFs like VT and VTI?

Anyone know about life insurance in Israel? Would like resources etc just to understand the terms and offers. I do have already, I didn't understand the details of what they were offering but I knew that anything is better than nothing, and until I find the time to learn more...

What is the best bank to open an account just for investing/storing money, like holding it in a trust for someone? In Jerusalem, preferably in central/north/Romema area? Is Bank of Jerusalem good for that? Meaning, I don't need a checking account, just to keep money there and transfer it out when we need to use it.

I've developed a personal finance tracking system with a focus on Gain/Loss per month, which is manually updated each month. This is especially good for people whose finances are spread between different countries. Since YNAB and other apps which work through automatic bank feeds don't work for Israel (or many other countries), it needs to be done differently. This system can also be useful for anyone anywhere as an alternative way of doing things, if the other options won't work for you for one reason or another. My system uses a spreadsheet with 4 different tabs tracking different things. You have to update it manually once a month, but it does not take more than an hour or so each month once you get the hang of it. The system tracks Gain/Loss per month by recording income broken down by source, and expenses broken down by source, monthly expenses, yearly summaries, and multi year summaries. It follows basic accounting principals with a focus on awareness of final Gain/Loss. The most important goal: crystal-clear awareness of the financial reality, enabling high-impact solutions. The method assumes that the family can solve problems mainly by increasing their income, which is a powerful psychological shift toward a more proactive, growth-oriented mindset. It does NOT track expenses by category or do budgeting analysis, unlike many commonly used apps. Part of the core philosophy is that families using this have moderate lifestyles without much room for cutting expenses, so the system shows monthly income discrepancies with a focus on increasing income, instead of tedious category tracking which may not be effective long term. By using AI, a family may convert their raw data into actionable intelligence, further solidifying the method's main goal of crystal-clear awareness. It has worked great for me for years, and I'm willing to teach anyone who wants to learn how.
