There are a bunch of topics that regularly come up that I need to get halachic answers to regarding frum.finanace. There are also many topics that existing rabbinic answers are out there and its unclear how well versed the Rov was that gave the psak on finance. I am trying to gain clarify for myself but also for all of you on topics that have come up, but also, on topics going forward. I would like to create a larger group of rabonim who either are already familiar with finance or are willing to learn to help paskin the different shilos that are brought to us as an organization, and also to give maskana on the work that is being done. I have a small handful of rabonim that have shown interest, and a couple that have given maskana, and I would really like to expand this out. Does anyone know anyone who would be a good fit for this? Willing to help us out on matters of halachah that come up? Willing to give maskana on the work being done here or help write piskei dinim that we can share to clarify certain issues?

Here’s a question I have been wondering. There are a lot of frum-run “Deals” WhatsApps and sites that advertise “PRICE MISTAKE!!” with some cheap product. Wouldn’t buying such a product be halchically prohibited? IIRC the Rambam speaks about this and says you have to return the difference, regardless of who the seller is.

I'm curious about the different ways people pay meisser on dividends, especially on larger long term investments where there would be an advantage to auto-reinvesting them

frum.finance, a non profit and registered 501c3 has a credit card. That credit card earns travel reward points. Can those points only be used for business travel? Obviously I'll ask a Rov, but it's a great theoretical!

WhatsApp group circulates a "PRICE MISTAKE!!!!" Can I buy the item, or is it g'neivas ha'daas? Does it make any difference if the group also solicits Tzedukah and posts news about Chassidishe Rebbes visiting Queens?

Investing in and index tracking ETF that tracks the entire US stock market or the entire global market. Is there any halachic problem, since a small percentage of the holdings are companies owned by Jews. Asking because in Israel תשואה כהלכה only approves synthetic ETFs not physical ones, presumably due to this issue. Researching...

Someone who gives Tzedaka to a collector who takes a high cut, does that qualify as Tzedaka? As technically every Jewish person I pay they give 10 percent to Tzedaka, we don't call that Tzedaka we call that Business? So if %10 Masser doesn't make the collector a Tzedaka, than what percentage does? For example kids who get high end prizes in return for Purim collecting, I think the main point is the prize with a kick back going to Tzedaka
