Bought an investment property and mortgage company misreported my address when doing a cred it check, they fixed it in the end but now all 3 credit unions are showing the wrong address as a new address for me. Can this become an issue down the line? If yes what's the easiest way to fix it?

I have the option of paying for medical care via hsa debit card or paying by Credit Card and filing paperwork for reimbursement. I gain the %2 cashback doing it the second way. But is it worth the hassle? Today I thought of another way to think about it. %2 is 1/50. I'm basically working for teruma

My wife @jolly-army-45541 saw an ad in Ami Magazine for a “debt consolidation gemach” … I didn’t see the ad, but if I understand correctly, the idea is that a generous benefactor (or Nigerian prince?) is offering an interest-free gemach loan to help frum families pay off interest-bearing loans. Anyone <!here> heard of this (or anything like this)?

I'd like to start helping my nearly 16 year old son build credit. Ideally I'd like to open a card in his name, where I can send a max spending limit. (Even more ideally I'd like it with Citibank because that's where I bank, but I'm willing to compromise there.) Can someone under 18 get a credit card? What should I be aware of? What good options are out there?

Not sure if this is the right channel but.. My current credit cards that I have (discover and Capitol one quicksilver one) just give me cash back. I'm trying to get more bang for my buck and read that maybe a travels cc can get me points and pay for flights/hotels. I do travel and use these things so I'm thinking of getting a new cc for that. Does anyone have reccemondations?

Similar question - I am only looking for pure cashback, currently have Citi Double Cash Card with 2% cashback for most purchases and AMEX Blue everyday for 3% cashback on groceries and gas. Are there better options?

I am currently leasing a vehicle and was just contacted by Honda saying that they are having a special on financing rates: 1. What are the benefits and downsides of leaving my lease (he says they will pay it off) and getting a new car that will be financed over 5-6 years? My current lease ends May 2026 2. Is there anything watch-out for (i.e. any catches, etc.)? 3. Will this negatively affect my credit if we are in the process of looking for a house?

I have a theory & I'd love for someone to validate or disprove it: We know that interest rates depend on a mix of positive credit history, including loan history. If you take a person who has a good credit score but no loan history, I assume their mortgage rates would be pretty high, since there would be an automatic strike for being a first time borrower. My theory is if that person has a successfully closed car loan (ie. financing a new car), it should significantly & positively affect the mortgage rate that they're able to get in the future. (This would be an argument for the person to finance the new car rather than pay in full, even if their rate isn't great for this first loan). Any thoughts / agreement / disagreement?
