Oh I like this idea! Hi I am Baruch Niebloom and I run a non profit frum.finance, a software consulting firm, and a real estate investing (buy and hold rentals) company, all as side projects though.

Hi! I'm Rivy Segal. My side hustles are real estate (2 unit rental, 31 pad mobile home park, 1 airbnb, and 4 wraparound mortgages), and an online boggle website (ewordchallenge.net -- don't judge! we just bought it, we know it looks awful). I'm constantly toying with the idea of buying a laundromat or a self storage facility too but don't know enough about it yet

my wife runs a small business of crazy ideas. She doesn’t have an official job but finds silly ways to make some money on the side. My favorite example is when she was in graduate school she found out it costs a ton of money to buy the graduation outfit you wear at the ceremony, so she bought it as a freshman and rented it out every year lolsob

Need to hire 2 people right now - 1 someone really good with digital marketing to improve funnels, strategize on improving a paid subscription product with a proven business with a large existing membership base etc, and 2. a salesperson with a base and commission for a digital marketing business which is small but profitable - having trouble finding people. Anywhere good to find talent for something like that? I am hesitant to use upwork for something like this

TLDR 1. Instead of just randomly buying and spending, do I need to be documenting everything super carefully for taxes or any other purpose? (if so, I'll need suggestions, because it wont happen naturally) 2. Is it dangerous to be spending as much money as I can on growing the business (advertising, merchandise, software)? Currently, the number in my bank account did not go up very much since I started, but I have very few living expenses and I have lots of merchandise now which will hopefully sell for a nice amount. 3. Anyone have a suggestion for keeping track of profits/expenses in general and specifically for the purpose of giving maaser properly? Just joined this group and I am excited to see how I can grow from it! I started a small business about two months ago. Currently, it's doing well enough to support my free rent as an 18 year old living at home. My question is (not sure if this would be better in a different channel): I just made a website, got a payment processor, signed up with my state to collect sales tax, got an EIN from the IRS and started selling. I don't know anything about taxes or regulations. I am also very unorganized. Additionally, it's all running on a personal bank account (I hope to change that soon). One day when the time comes, I will need to worry about taxes, but I don't know if I need to be doing anything now in preparation for that or not? Also, I started with almost no money. Currently, I am investing ~90% of profits into new merchandise. I don't know if I need to be saving up more for other things. Lastly, I do not know a good way to keep track of profits for maaser. Sorry, I feel like many of these questions are not worded so well and/or are stupid questions. Feel free to just link me to the right place, thanks everyone!

I'm offering business process automation to handle your menial drudgery so you can focus on building. Some things I'm working on right now: 1. For a multifamily real estate company - I'm building a collection system that calls tenants who are behind on rent to offer them a payment plan. 2. For a service provider - I'm creating an auto receptionist that schedules and reschedules appointments and follows up about billing issues. DM me and we can talk about dealing with bottlenecks or annoyances in your business.

I've just gotten started freelancing business automation projects, and I haven't really worked out pricing and have a hard time estimating how long projects are going to take. Today I met with some private equity folk who want me to automate some of their property management workflows for their portfolio and they are asking about pricing. Does anyone have useful resources on figuring out how to price projects for big customers? I'm also curious if anyone has ideas or experience and knows what works. I don't want to undersell, or lose the job. And I'm not sure how to go about writing a proposal.
