Responding to @alert-napkin-48631’s request for separating out tuition and childcare, these are the subcategories I wanted to have for Children. The first release won’t have sub-categories as of now (hopefully august @full-wall-37598??) Can I rename the category to make it more clear that tuition and childcare are both under children? Thoughts?

auto insurance - 'transportation' or 'insurance'?

I feel like cellphone bill doesn’t fit into any main category, should we create a new parent category?

lol I put that under utilities without thinking twice

I put my office space rental under 'housing' the only ones that didn't fit into any category are business related expenses, some yearly subscriptions, accountant fees, and gifts

Would health insurance fall under healthcare or insurance? I would assume insurance but the category specified (life, auto, umbrella)

The numbers on the web app seem very off for me, I don't want to post a screenshot but I'm wondering if my data might be off

Will need more active testers or else we will need to start off ignoring certain crtieria in the analysis, like everyone having the same number / age kids, since we won't have enough data.

Sorry if this was posted somewhere, but does testing mean just connecting YNAB and mapping categories? Is there a web app?

Hi all. This was my experience: I joined this channel and didn't know what the next steps were. I didn't see anything in the channel description. I scrolled up and found a message from @mysterious-tomato-10057 linking to a Slack app. I clicked on that and then linked my YNAB account. I ended up on this page (see screenshot). I then went back to Slack and tried clicking the category buttons hoping it would then open something up to let me select which of my categories I want to map to it. But clicking those buttons didn't seem to do anything. It now says (maybe it always did?) basically all my YNAB categories are mapped (to what, I don't know) except for 2 of them

got an error message on the web when I clicked the button that was supposed to take me to remap my categories

Feedback: 1. do you have code checking if an account exists when you put in the email address? I may have just created another account using the same email 2. There is no feedback when I enter either my email or password wrong (I have no idea which i did wrong since there's no feedback but the screen just blinks and clears) 3. (first screenshot) Its not standard to use icons as menu options - I have no idea what they mean and mistakingly logged myself out. Also the colors are a bit unprofessional 4. (second screenshot) Theres a lot going on here. Lots of rectangles and I don't know where to look first. I'd move the ynab linking thing under the please enter your spending for july. The why use can be just a question mark icon near Your {month} budget 5. I clicked analyze got a something went wrong error and when I clicked try again it brought me to the chart with all the values missing 😢

I added a notification when accuracy is low because of there being very few similar users in the system
