Replicating here a comment in the original Hacktoberfest issue:
If you're here, probably you're at the same time learning Flyte and trying to improve the codebase, which is hard.
You can split the effort and increase your chances of earning well-deserved swag: 💰
    1. Write a blog post teaching something you learned about Flyte. Think of this as a really good way of learning: having to explain it in words/diagrams. Swag : t-shirt and sticker
    2. Record a demo showcasing something you learned about Flyte. Swag: water bottle and sticker
In any of these cases, let us know in the #hacktoberfest-2023 channel or by commenting here where you posted/you plan to post the content and we'll review it. Once reviewed and accepted, swag will be yours.
    Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, nice to meet you, as a [backend Python] developer looking to participate in Hacktoberfest this year, I'd like to know: are there any leftover
    good-first-issue
s to solve? I've searched through the unassigned good-first-issues, they're all commented like "please give this to me". Filter.

Hey @tall-lock-23197 and @average-finland-92144, I was thinking to organize a some kind of panel or big meeting about “How to contribute Open-source projects? for noobs, and what to do after Hacktoberfest?” You down for this panel kind of meeting? I’m gonna invite from anarchy.ai which is LLMOps tool, invite from maybe Weavite, evidently ai or Dagshub (I don’t know about their availability!) We can do after hacktoberfest! 👀 WDYT? I am just posting here, to see what other newbie contributors think about? Is it beneficial for the people who are trying to participate in Hacktoberfest?

Hi everyone! After two weeks of Hacktoberfest, some observations: 1. Compared with the same two weeks from 2022: a. 61% increase in # code contributions b. 36% increase in productivity (avg # PRs/ submitter) 2. 42 open issues / 14 unassigned / 34 without a linked PR (no sign of progress yet) Recommendations: 1. Issues can be assigned to you, someone else or multiple people at the same time. Nevertheless, if someone else comes with a valid PR, it will be accepted. First-come, first-served. 2. When you submit a PR to close an Issue, make sure to use one of the GH keywords to actually link the PR to the Issue. It helps with keeping track of progress Also sharing the current leaderboard. Keep code and content contributions coming! Thanks
