Hi everyone, I was recently motivated to try the UnionML Framework (got interested a bit in microservices, and came across this package), so joined this slack community. Just wanted to know, are we allowed to discuss the problems faced while using it here, or the appropriate place would be the Github Issues corner?

Issue: I have been following the docs here, but while running the code

unionml serve app:app --reload --model-path /tmp/model_object.pt

, I get this error on the browser

and in the terminal, it is showing:

INFO: 127.0.0.1:64825 - "GET /predict HTTP/1.1" 405 Method Not Allowed

Hi! I saw on the website that experiment tracking and data lineage is on the way. Is there anywhere this progress can be tracked? I’m working at a company that’s just making a switch from determined.ai to Flyte for orchestration. However, this now means we are missing three important pieces which are experiment tracking/model registry/data versioning. Wondering if union.ml could be a good fit if it’s not too far away on the horizon?

Hi, unionml community! I'm trying to run the MNIST: Digits Classification Tutorial in my local Flyte cluster, but I'm running into issues. Specifically, I hope to train, run batch inference, and serve the model via FastAPI within my local Flyte Sandbox. I followed these steps: 1. I set up a local sandbox environment by running

flytectl demo start

, 2. I ensured my

~/.flyte/config.yaml

is pointed at my local environment. 3. I started a unionml project by running

unionml init mnist

and navigating into the directory. 4. I ran

unionml deploy app:model

to deploy a Model object named "model" in the app.py file within the current working directory. 5. I ran

unionml train app:model

to train the model. When I deploy the model, I see these logs:

When I train the model, I see that a workflow is triggered in the sandbox Flyte Console, but the workflow fails on the

It looks like I'm getting an error with finding pulling an image, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong 😅. Could you advise on how I can get this working?

When I execute a flyte workflow, do the nodes in that workflow run in separate Kubernetes pods? If so, How can I adjust the amount of cpu/memory I allocate to a particular kubernetes pod?

Hello, I am currently trying to deploy the test app on a flyte-binary I have added a 'registry' parameter in model.remote, I added it with the url of our private registry, such as: model.remote( dockerfile="Dockerfile", config_file=str(Path.home() / ".flyte" / "config.yaml"), project="digits-classifier", domain="development", registry="registry.company.com", ) when I run

unionml deploy app:model

, authentication to flyte is OK, but deploy fails with the following error :

[unionml] failed to deploy app:model: Error while fetching server API version: ('Connection aborted.', FileNotFoundError(2, 'No such file or directory'))

I suppose that credentials to access the docker registry are missing, but I don't know how to set it to be used by unionml ? I suppose there's some variables to set, but no documentation about this, even in flyte ?! can someone help me to find out something to solve this problem

Hello, I face an issue, with the basic sample app.py from unionml, when I try to follow the documentation : https://unionml.readthedocs.io/en/stable/flyte_cluster.html#unionml-predict my flyte target is a flyte-binary deployed on an ovhCloud kubernetes cluster. I can deploy and run some simple workflows with flytectl & pyflyte. I can execute

unionml train app:model -i '{"hyperparameters": {"C": 1.0, "max_iter": 1000}}'

, and the workflow execute and run OK in flyte, but when I want to predict

unionml predict app:model -f data/sample_features.json

I've got an error :

TypeError: No automatic conversion found from type <class 'sklearn.linear_model._logistic.LogisticRegression'> to FlyteFile.Supported (os.PathLike, str, Flytefile)

which is a flytekit originated error, my config is unionml 0.2.1, flyteidl 1.5.21, flytekit 1.9.1, scikit-learn 1.3.2, with flyte-binary I use the app.py created with unionml init project, with a remote configuration towards the target flyte-binary, which seems ok I'm stuck with this issue, any idea on how to fix, by specifying a type somewhere ? is there a change to do in the app.py, to avoid this error ? is it a bug due to some new version of packages ? thanks in advance for any help to fix this iissue
