In your packages.yml, specify the package directly from the dbt-data-reliability repository (note: this is the correct repo for the dbt package, not the elementary CLI repo):
packages:
- git: "https://github.com/elementary-data/dbt-data-reliability.git"
revision: <version-or-commit-hash>

Option 2: Install a forked version
If you've forked the repository and made custom changes, you can point to your fork:
packages:
- git: <your-fork-https-address>

Important Note on Repositories
Elementary has two separate repositories:
• dbt package → <https://github.com/elementary-data/dbt-data-reliability|dbt-data-reliability> — used in packages.yml
• CLI/Python package → <https://github.com/elementary-data/elementary|elementary> — installed via pip
When installing via git in packages.yml, make sure you're referencing dbt-data-reliability, not the elementary CLI repo. Using the wrong repo will result in a No dbt_project.yml found error.
