11/19/2025, 12:43 PMedr monitor does not support filtering by a specific dbt invocation ID. Relevant behavior from the docs and community threads: - edr report and edr send-report do support --select invocation_id:<id> / --select last_invocation to generate a report for a single invocation. [[Generate report](https://docs.elementary-data.com/oss/guides/generate-report-ui)] - edr monitor works differently: it picks up all pending alerts (those with sent = false) within the time window you specify (e.g. --days-back) and marks them as sent, so each alert is only sent once, regardless of how many times you run edr monitor. [[Monitor behavior](https://slack.com/archives/C02CTC89LAX/p1664962599452549); [When to run monitor](https://slack.com/archives/C02CTC89LAX/p1685463491192549)] - Filtering for edr monitor is by selectors like tag, owner, model, path, etc. (e.g. edr monitor --select tag:critical or edr monitor --select tag:finance), not by invocation. [[Tag filtering](https://slack.com/archives/C02CTC89LAX/p1683068624240939); [Selectors / dbt selectors](https://slack.com/archives/C02CTC89LAX/p1689603017634689)] So you can narrow alerts by tags / models / owners and by time (--days-back), but there is no documented way to run edr monitor only for one specific dbt invocation.
