You cannot configure the --env flag using config.yml in Elementary Data. The --env flag, which controls whether the environment is shown as "dev" or "prod" in reports and alerts, must be set via the command line or as an environment variable, not in the config.yml file. The config.yml file is mainly used for alert-related configurations (like Slack tokens), and it does not support setting general CLI flags such as --env. Additionally, config.yml does not support environment variable interpolation or Jinja templating for this purpose. If you want to set the environment, you should use the CLI flag directly, for example:
edr report --env prod
or set the corresponding environment variable:
export EDR_REPORT_ENV=prod
