Based on the available knowledge sources, you cannot currently pass variables (such as dbt vars) directly to the edr report command using a flag like --vars or --dbt-vars. Attempts to use --dbt-vars with edr report result in an error stating that the option does not exist. This limitation has been acknowledged by the Elementary team, and there is an open issue for adding support for this feature in the future. For now, variables can only be passed to the edr monitor command, not edr report.
