Currently, there is no built-in way to fully customize the header (title) of the Slack message sent by edr monitor. The default header is "Monitoring summary" and, by default, it may include the environment (e.g., "Monitoring summary (dev)"). You can use the --env flag to change the environment label in the header (e.g., from "dev" to "prod"), but this only toggles between "dev" and "prod" and does not allow for arbitrary custom text. The --env flag is primarily for distinguishing between environments and changes the color and label in the report or alert, but not the entire header text itself. There is currently no CLI parameter to set a fully custom title for the Slack alert header when using edr monitor. This limitation has been discussed by users and acknowledged by the Elementary team as a potential feature request, but it is not available as of now. If you need more context in the header, you might consider including the dbt project name or environment in your Slack channel naming or in the alert configuration, but direct header customization is not supported yet[Slack forum: custom header request](
