If you see entries for your anomaly tests in the Snowflake ELEMENTARY schema and the elementary_test_results table, but they are not appearing in your Elementary dashboard (built-in Streamlit), here are some common troubleshooting steps based on the knowledge sources: 1. Profile and Schema Configuration: Ensure that the Elementary dashboard is connecting to the correct profile and schema. The dashboard uses the profile named "elementary" in your
profiles.yml
, and the schema field should point to your ELEMENTARY schema. If the dashboard is using a different profile or schema, it may not display the latest test results. Double-check that the profile and schema used by the dashboard match where your test results are being written. This is a common source of issues when the dashboard appears out of sync with the data in your warehouse [Troubleshooting Guide](https://docs.elementary-data.com/cloud/guides/troubleshoot), [Slack Discussion](https://slack.com/archives/C02CTC89LAX/p1739540598495729). 2. Materialization Issues: The
elementary_test_results
table should be an incremental table. If it was created as a regular table or view, or if there is a conflicting materialization config in your
dbt_project.yml
, this can cause issues. Remove any overriding materialization config and run:
dbt run --select elementary --full-refresh
Then run your tests again and check if the dashboard updates [Troubleshooting Guide](https://docs.elementary-data.com/cloud/guides/troubleshoot). 3. Version Compatibility: Ensure that your Elementary dbt package and CLI are up to date and compatible with your dbt version. Incompatibilities can cause test results to not appear in the dashboard, even if they are present in the warehouse tables [Troubleshooting Guide](https://docs.elementary-data.com/cloud/guides/troubleshoot). 4. Data Freshness and Sample Size: For anomaly tests, if there is not enough recent data (e.g., not enough data in the last 14 days), the tests may not show up in the dashboard even if there are entries in the table. Make sure your data meets the requirements for anomaly detection [Slack Discussion](https://slack.com/archives/C02CTC89LAX/p1669897217448839). 5. Dashboard Refresh: Sometimes, the dashboard may cache results or not refresh automatically. Try reloading the dashboard or restarting the Streamlit app to ensure it picks up the latest data. If you have checked all of the above and the issue persists, there may be a bug or a deeper configuration issue. In that case, you can reach out to the Elementary team via the intercom chat in the UI or provide logs for further assistance [Troubleshooting Guide](https://docs.elementary-data.com/cloud/guides/troubleshoot). Let me know if you need more specific guidance on any of these steps!
