I have set tags on my tests (by test, not by model) and they are showing in the dbt_tests and elementary_test_results tables but not accessible in the report. Tests have run before the creation of the tags so in elementary_test_results, not all the test executions have the tag if that can have an impact. How can I retrieve and filter by the tags in the report ?

Based on the knowledge sources, I understand your issue with test-level tags not being accessible in the Elementary report for filtering purposes. Currently, Elementary's report UI only supports filtering by model-level tags, not test-level tags. This is a known limitation that has been discussed in several community conversations. According to multiple sources, while Elementary does capture test tags in the
elementary_test_results
table (which is why you can see them there), the report's sidebar filtering functionality has historically only worked with model/source/exposure tags, not test tags. In recent versions of Elementary (specifically version 0.16.2 and later), test tags have been added as an optional column in the test results page. To view this column: 1. Go to the test results page 2. Look for column selection options on the right side 3. Enable the "test tags" column However, there was a bug with filtering by test tags when the tag names contained capital letters, which was fixed in version 0.16.2 [as mentioned in a Slack conversation](https://slack.com/archives/C02CTC89LAX/p1737992931172719). If you're using an older version of Elementary, you might want to consider upgrading to at least version 0.16.2 to get access to this functionality. If you're already on a recent version and still can't filter by test tags, make sure you've enabled the test tags column in the report interface. This feature has been a requested enhancement for some time, as evidenced by [GitHub issue #369](https://github.com/elementary-data/elementary/issues/369) and [GitHub issue #1241](https://github.com/elementary-data/elementary/issues/1241).
