getting back to looking into integrating elementary OSS with dbt-core -- is there a way to use it with multiple dbt projects, or that works in cloud?

Hey Vishal! Elementary OSS does not support multiple dbt projects, every dbt project requires a separate Elementary schema in the DWH and its own report. Elementary Cloud does include multiple projects in the same platform, shown as separate environments 🙂

so in the case of multiple projects , we will have to specify a different schema name — it cannot append to the same ‘elementary’ schema if we run in different projects?

dbt artifacts are deleted and regenerated on each run to reflect the current state of the project, so they aren’t designed to support multiple projects simultaneously. There have been ideas in the community around unioning multiple Elementary schemas to display them in a single report, but as far as we know, no one has successfully implemented this yet.
