not sure if this is the best place for this question but I am gonna ask away anyway 😄 when it comes to data quality alerting on Slack, wonder what strategy is everyone using here? I only only think of 2: 1. Centralized approach (i.e. 1 big Slack channel to rule them all) 2. Domain specific (e.g. 1 channel for Ops, 1 channel for Finance, etc.) any other inspiration? Priorities maybe?

There is no right answer. Alerting is delicate as you can easily end up with a noisy channel that nobody cares.
For me the key question is, what is really that critical that it deserves an alert?
Another approach is no alerts, review elementary report daily as part of a team routine (e.g. Stand up meetings)

If there is no human action after the alert. The alert is useless.
