Hi 👋 I have a quick question. When I have test failures, I'd like to form a clickable link in the "failing rows" data in the report (so that our stakeholders reviewing failures can see a link from which the failing data came from). But when I try and embed HTML in here it doesn't work (just shows the HTML). Not sure if this is deliberately done for security reasons etc, or if there is a way I can do it?

Hey @Claire Taylor, I am not sure I understand.. Can you explain what do you mean by forming a clickable link in the failing rows data?
c
Like here, I have two failing records. If add to this and create a column say "report_url" and put <a href="my_url">link</a> in that column's contents (as in this comes out of the failing query in dbt), it comes out with the html not a clickable link.
i
Can I asked where did you add this column? At the report itself?
c
I added it in what is returned from my dbt test.

Hi @Claire Taylor, chiming in here 🙂 Do you need to embed any html other than clickable links? Will just making any link that starts with
https://
clickable also work for you?
c
Yes that would work!

Cool! I found a similar issue in our Github, you can add your use case and upvote the issue and we will prioritize it 🙂

Hi @Ella Katz sorry about the delay but I added details to that issue now!
