Hi there, we are running dbt command in a docker container during the CI. We see that run-on-end hook takes forever. In the documentation you are mentioning that you are maintaining metadata cache to speedup the process. Where is located this metadata cache ? can we choose its location (so I could put it in s3 and get it during the CI).
Performance impact of
on-run-end
hooks
We give a lot of thought and effort to making Elementary efficient in both cost and performance. We only run the hooks that are relevant to each run, and each hook creates a minimal amount of queries possible. Metadata models For `dbt 1.4.0` and above, we maintain a metadata cache. This means each of these models are only updated with changes in your project (new model, change in config, etc.). The first time you execute Elementary the initial update might take a while, but the following updates should be quick.
