Hi there friends! Anyone knows why elementary keeps trying to access posthog on edr report even if I’ve set anonymous_usage_tracking: false in the config.yml?

Hi Fabian! 🙂 We looked into it and you are right - even though it doesn't send usage information, there is still a call being made when this flag is set to

False

. When the flag is

True

it sends two calls (one with anonymous_usage) and the other one without. So it works, but we will look into why it makes that other call.

HI @Noya Offer Im currently having a similar issue, has a change been made to now suppress all calls to post hog when anonymous_usage_tracking is set to false?

Hi @Noya Offer , was this ever resolved? This creates a lot of noise in our logs and makes debugging harder, would very much appreciate a fix if this exists
