Hi team, I am attempting to set slack token and channel information in the config.yml file. It works when I hard code the information, but I want to use the slack token stored as an env var. It seems jinja-based dbt templating like
"{{ env_var('ELEMENTARY_SLACK_TOKEN') }}"
does not work. What is the right way to access an env var in the config.yml file?
I have found this thread: https://elementary-community.slack.com/archives/C02CTC89LAX/p1685126855599089 Seems like it may not be possible unfortunately

Hey! You're right, this isn't currently possible. Command line flags would work best 🙂

I think it is a better idea to have an env vars in the file given this is a repeatable process and I don't want the slack token stored in plain text. I did find a workaround by running a command to copy the env var into the config.yml file manually on my pod before executing the elementary commands though.
